At Best Friends Pets, we know dental health plays a crucial role in keeping your pet happy and healthy.

Dental issues are prevalent among our four-legged friends, so getting into good oral hygiene habits is essential to their overall wellness. Our pets need regular and consistent dental care, which requires a little help from their owners to get right. In some cases, early prevention can make all the difference to their long-term health.

At Our Vet, you can be sure your best friend is getting the best care – because we know that better teeth means better health.

WHY DENTAL HEALTH IS IMPORTANT

Avoiding periodontitis isn’t the only reason to make sure your pet has a clean bill of dental health. Regular cleaning can also prevent gingivitis (painful inflammation of the gums) and halitosis (bad breath), and has even been linked to a lower risk of heart disease.

Get your pet’s dental health checked at least every six months - Our Vet calls this Twice For Life. If you notice any of the above symptoms, make an appointment straight away, to get your best friend on the road to health.

TESTIMONIALS

Our Vet has been looking after my cat Alby since he was a kitten. The vet recommended Hill's Oral Care for her teeth last year and she's been fed it ever since. She's doing really well and the vet said her teeth are looking great!

TESTIMONIALS

I started noticing my dog Kevin's teeth were looking a little yellow and his breath was awful, ruining cuddles on the couch. I took him to Our Vet for a free dental check and they've given me some good recommendations for dental food and treats, plus he's booked in for a clean and scale next week. Thanks for your help!

TESTIMONIALS

Thanks for Buffy's free dental check - I'm quite proud of her great teeth at 7 years old! I've switched her to the dental treats you recommended too. I'll be back next year to make sure her dental health is still good. Thanks again!
