Best Friends Browns Plains an Morayfield Grand Opening Event this Saturday May 16 and Sunday May 17!
In the lead up to the official Grand Opening events at Best Friends Pet Care SuperCentre’s new Morayfield and Browns Plains stores this weekend (May 16 & 17), some very special homeless dogs left their shelters and spent some time in each of the store’s state of the art salons, to be primed and prepped for potential adoption. 
Best Friends Browns Plains is now open at 3 Commerce Drive, Browns Plains!
Long term pet lover and Best Friends Pet Care SuperCentre Store Manager at Browns Plains, Carl Harris, couldn’t be happier with opening in the area, and says he is looking forward to getting to know the locals.

Store General Manager Sophie and her team at Tweed Heads are encouraging locals to get on board with their pawed Best Friends to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation, by colouring their hair at the upcoming Colour for a Cure Day on Saturday, April 18 from 9am-4pm. 
Melbournians fell in love with Miss Smithy at Best Friends Cranbourne's Mega Pet Adoption Day recently.
Miss Smithy is an 8 year old Stumpy Heeler who is in a wheelchair with special needs.  She cannot walk on her own, and she needs to either be on her wheels or lifted on a sling.

Preventing Resource Guarding

Some young puppies are prone to guarding behaviour because they have had to compete with their littermates for limited amounts of food. Teaching your puppy to eat when you are around will prevent aggressive food guarding later on in life.
